Fujian Medical University Scholarship for Chinese Language Learning for International Students

Overview

This scholarship supports Chinese language learning by rewarding undergraduate international students for achieving HSK levels before the end of the sixth or ninth semester.

Coverage/Benefits

Awards are: 800 RMB (HSK 4), 1000 RMB (HSK 5), 1200 RMB (HSK 6) if taken before the end of the sixth semester; or 450 RMB (HSK 4), 550 RMB (HSK 5), 650 RMB (HSK 6) if taken before the end of the ninth semester.

Eligibility

Applicants must be full-time self-financed undergraduate international students enrolled at the university, abide by Chinese law and university regulations, have no disciplinary warnings or above, no outstanding fees, pass all public Chinese courses, and achieve HSK scores of 180 or above. HSK exams must be taken at Fujian Medical University’s examination centre.

Application

Applications are submitted within the first month of each semester. Students apply based on HSK scores, and Chinese language teachers review applications before evaluation by the college’s Leading Group and final university approval.
