Scholarship for Outstanding International Students at Zhengzhou University

Overview

This scholarship recognises outstanding international students with strong character and excellent academic performance. It aims to encourage active participation in university activities and exemplary conduct in accordance with Chinese laws and university regulations.

Coverage/Benefits

Covers full tuition and on-campus accommodation. Monetary awards: first prize 12,000 RMB (top 2% of grade), second prize 8,000 RMB (top 3%), third prize 5,000 RMB (top 5%). A separate single scholarship offers 5,000 RMB (first prize) and 3,000 RMB (second prize). Airfare, health insurance, living allowance, and settlement allowance are not covered.

Eligibility

Applicants must be officially enrolled undergraduate or master's students for at least one year, excluding those receiving other Chinese Government Scholarships. They must abide by Chinese laws and university regulations, maintain good conduct, achieve academic performance within the top 30% of their grade, and meet attendance and credit requirements. Postgraduate applicants must also satisfy additional criteria such as competition awards or publication in recognised journals.

Application

Students submit the Zhengzhou University International Student Scholarship Application Form to the International Students Management Office. The Teaching Office calculates academic rankings, and the International Students Management Office computes comprehensive performance scores and determines awardees following committee review.
