Xi'an Petroleum University Scholarship

Overview

The 'Scholarship for New Foreign Students' encourages outstanding international undergraduates and master’s students to study at Xi’an Petroleum University. There are 70 scholarships awarded each year.

Coverage/Benefits

First prize covers full tuition and accommodation fees; second prize covers full tuition; third prize covers 50% of tuition.

Eligibility

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens, in good health, and no older than 35 years for master’s programmes or 30 years for bachelor’s programmes. Bachelor’s applicants require a high school diploma; master’s applicants require a bachelor’s degree.

Application

Applications are accepted from 1 March to 30 August annually via XPU’s online application system at http://xsyu.edu.cn/lxsgl.

Documents

Required documents include the XPU admission application form, passport, notarised highest education certificate (or enrolment certificate if currently studying), academic transcripts, a study plan (for master’s applicants), and two letters of recommendation (for master’s applicants).
