Overview

This scholarship is for self-financed foreign students enrolled in Chinese language programs at Zhejiang Institute of Science and Technology who demonstrate excellence in academic, cultural, sports, social welfare, or developmental areas.

Coverage/Benefits

The Academic Diligence Award is RMB 500 (awarded to 10% of Chinese language students). The Social Welfare Award is RMB 300–500. The Cultural and Sports Excellence Award ranges from RMB 300–2000 depending on competition level. The Cultural and Sports Participation Award ranges from RMB 100–2000. The Development Potential Award applies to students whose academic performance improves by 25 points or more compared with the previous semester.

Eligibility

Applicants must be self-financed foreign students enrolled in Chinese language programs. For the Academic Diligence Award, students must achieve academic assessment scores of 85 or above and have no more than 30 hours of absenteeism per semester. Other awards have criteria based on moral qualities, participation in social welfare, competition results, or academic improvement.
